The smell of training camp and summer practice can be smelled in the air for the upcoming football season. But that is not what all the buzz is about, at least in the gamers world. The new Madden comes out in 14 days and i am very excited. I have read about the new features and i am ready to try them out for myself. I have, sometimes foolishly have bought every madden since the first one came out on the original xbox. Some always criticize the Madden game every year, but i am not one of them, no i am hooked. With the game improving each year, how could you not at least rent it and check it out? If you are a football fan, Madden is a good way to get your football fix in through the days that don't normally hold pro football games, Tuesday-Saturday. The one thing that i don't know if I'll like is the slowed game play. It will take some getting used to by all players but it will be good so that the offensive line can set up a pocket for you on offense and for you to be able to take a look at all of your receivers. This year's football season is going to be great, and so should (I hope) Madden 10.

Plus, I think your being hard on the game. NO football game was EVER perfect, or any videogame, for that matter, and please don't bring up the very flawed 2K5. People were swayed by presentation and animations although the game controlled like an arcade game and players "ran around a pole" when u controlled them, just like old school games. Madden didn't control like that, at the very least. I think when u are looking for flaws, that's all u will see then affects the overall feeling and then u develope bias. I don't play games just looking for flaws because those are always going be there. There were a lot of things I didn't like about the 2K series but I did like 2K5, overall, because I didn't go into it looking to hate on it. I gave each game in the series a chance.
